All having a different constitution to herself. So the opportunity to join Captain Beidou on a trip to Mondstadt was graciously, even if anxiously, accepted as it was a chance to see and explore the nature of people around Teyvat. Liyue was beautiful and hospitable but the commercial city of contracts was overwhelming at best- infuriating at worse. In fact, this, above all else was Shenhe’s most glaring challenge- the constant chatter, the crowds, the unpredictability of changing surrounds. Integration into the mortal realm was not easy. Hopefully she’d understand and excuse Shenhe’s reclusiveness. It was in these moments of silence she could relax from the bustle of the day, feeling guilty for that being the case as this trip was a favour given to her from Captain Beidou. Comforting… that the moon and stars will follow her- adeptal realm or mortal realm- they would silently follow and continue to shine. The stress of the situation slipped from Shenhe’s shoulders as she looked out into the horizon, where the glimmer of the water met the shine of the moon. Captain Beidou and her crew, save for a few to man the ship overnight, were asleep. Ebbing and pulling waves created a calming sound both with the water and the creak of the wooden planks on the Crux.
